We mostly are ex-student of Sekolah Menengah Sains Teluk Intan, Perak Lining from players who exited school since SPM 1985 until recently, who love to continue our passion in field hockey.  We inviting all nearby community to join us as a proud team.

ASTICobra.com is one way to digitalise all our players database and information so we can sustain the hockey team for three to four decades at least.

All registered players can check games/training information & receive email notification when there is a session.

Our mission is to provide all members and associates of the Team with pathways and opportunities to fulfil their individual and collective goals in hockey, through the provision of high quality coaching and facilities, while offering opportunities for players of all levels and abilities to enjoy the sport of Hockey.

We aim to provide a warm and welcoming social environment to members and guests from all areas of the community not only alumni.

The ASTICobra Committee/Admin operates the Team in a professional and focused manner to ensure the Team has a long and sustainable future, both on and off the field.

The mission of the Team reflects the goals of different groups of players and associates, brought together as a whole club with a family and community focus.

ASTICobra Hockey Team strives to achieve the following strategic objectives:

  • A alumni/community based club culture built on club values and inclusion;
  • Maintain a high profile and successful any local tournament/open men’s team;
  • Maintain a high profile and successful of school student (SEMESTI) district/state level tournament;
  • Promotion and expansion of alumni teams to reflect a range of competitive and social levels;
  • Continued development of school (SEMESTI) hockey pathways;
  • Establishment of good training structures & equipment;
  • Strong and sustainable club governance, coaching and finance; and
  • To provide a service to the community.
  • To ensure frequent training sessions every week or at least twice a week.
